The Bosch Aerotwin range of wiper blades are designed to give clearer, smoother and quieter performance over traditional wiper blades.

Driving safety can be dramatically effected with poor wiper blades. The importance of a clean, smooth and long lasting performance is what the Aerotwin range from Bosch are built around. They have eliminated the system of mechanical bows, joints and springs and instead designed a completely joint free, rubber wiper blade. This single rubber blade is moulded with an integrated spoiler with two spring-loaded metal rails which evenly distribute the wiper blade pressure across the whole length. The built in spoiler ensures a consistently good wipe even at high speeds. The other added benefit of this single rubber blade design is it's reduced profile on the windscreen. The Bosch Aerotwin wiper blades are half the height of a standard wiper blade. This reduced profile improves the aerodynamics and reduces noise by a significant amount.

Since its launch in 1999, the new style of wiper blade has enjoyed great success. A significant proportion of new cars have been fitted with these flat Aerotwin style wiper blades. We expect all cars to move to this technology in the near future.
