Lexus introduces RX 450h centralised control system

Lexus has launched a new centralised control system that is able to manage the increasingly sophisticated onboard entertainment, information and navigation systems demanded by motorists these days, it has announced.

Remote Touch features in the manufacturer’s new full-hybrid luxury SUV the RX 450h and presents data on a display that is located at a user-friendly height and reading distance from the person behind the wheel.

"The slim, ergonomically-designed Remote Touch device is positioned on the centre console, immediately below the gear shift. It is linked to an eight-inch VGA display screen, set in a recessed housing on the top of the centre console," Lexus states.

Available to order now, the RX 450h is due to be delivered to customers from July.

Lexus recently noted that the vehicle’s quietness, performance and driving performance is enhanced by the rigid body shell, which is created using a range of precision welding technologies during the production process.ADNFCR-2370-ID-19148378-ADNFCR
