New Clio Renaultsport 200 unveiled
Renault has unveiled the latest incarnation of the Clio Renaultsport, which it states takes inspiration from the world of Formula 1.
The marque explains that the new motor’s styling includes aerodynamic features that are based on some of the most powerful vehicles in the world.
Among them is a blade to reduce wind resistance that it built into the front bumper, as well as a rear diffuser.
Meanwhile, the interior of the car can be tailored in order to suit the tastes of the owner thanks to a range of new upholsteries and finishes. Available colours include grey, yellow and carbon.
"Clio Renaultsport 200 benefits from significant changes compared with the standard version of Clio. The front and rear tracks are wider by 48mm and 50mm respectively and the wheelbase is extended by 10mm to 2,585mm for greater stability," Renault asserts.
Last month, Renault declared its support for the car scrappage scheme announced by chancellor of the exchequer Alistair Darling as part of the 2009 Budget.
