Hyundai unveils i10 and i30 ES editions
Hyundai has announced the availability of Extra Special (ES) editions of its i10 and i30 models.
The limited edition vehicles are based on entry level cars in the ranges, but offer motorists extra style, luxury and money off – allowing them to take advantage of the government’s car scrappage scheme.
The i30 ES features air conditioning, four air bags and front electric windows, while driver seat height adjustment and remote central locking are the ES features.
Meanwhile, the i30 ES hatchback includes electronic climate control, reversing sensors to reduce the chances of bumps and potential damage to car bulbs when parking and a "stylish" silver front grille.
Only 1,000 i10 ES editions are due to be made available, while just 500 i30 ES editions will be made.
Commenting, Hyundai said: "Both models are available to order now, but are expected to sell out quickly as the scrappage scheme goes live."
The scrappage initiative was announced by chancellor of the exchequer Alistair Darling last month.
