Kia Soul 1.6 CRDi ‘proud to be different’
The Kia Soul 1.6 CRDi has qualities similar to a wide range of disparate vehicles and is not ashamed to be something a little different, according to an industry analyst.
Writing for the Times, Giles Smith explains that it is like a hatchback, but on the scale of a supermini, but that is also shares qualities with a charming Mini or Fiat 500, but with a hint of the ruggedness offered by an SUV.
"In a world of unambitious blobalikes and tame copycat jobs, cautiously market tested and coldly compromised right down to their wiper blades, how refreshing it is to see a car that is unashamed – proud, even – to be different," he adds.
He notes that the Kia Soul 1.6 CRDi has a range of different bodywork options to make the vehicles look event more individual. These include racing stripes and other designs.
In recent weeks, Kia announced that more than 5,000 Souls have been sold since January.
