White Rolls Royce is 'top choice' for weddings

When it comes to getting married, British women dream of being whisked to the church in a white Rolls Royce, it has been revealed.

Research carried out by car insurance provider Diamond found that the second most popular mode of wedding transport wished-for by British women is a horse and carriage, followed by an Aston Martin.

Meanwhile, those shopping for wiper blades may be interested to learn that Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt was named as the ideal wedding chauffeur, followed by his friend and Ocean’s Eleven co-star George Clooney.

Top Gear’s racing mystery man the Stig took third place in the poll.

Commenting on the results, Diamond managing director Sian Lewis said: "You want every part of your wedding day to be wonderful and of course you want to make a grand entrance. So it seems like a classic white Rolls Royce driven by Brad Pitt is the way to arrive in style."

In related news, a recent survey by Carmony.co.uk found that men and women have a similar amount of knowledge when it comes to driving and car maintenance.ADNFCR-2370-ID-19218473-ADNFCR

I think anyone wants to make an impression for the one special day you get married. People want to feel like luxury even if it is only for a day and a Rolls Royce is without a doubt a sign of luxury.

White Rolls Royce is good for wedding but people have their choice about this matter. Some people like some other branded cars for their wedding.

First choice would have to be an Aston Martin for me! Rolls Royce is always the choice for most women.

I must agree that having Bradd Pitt as a driver would definitely spell fun and style in a wedding.
