Xenon headlights and LED car bulbs: the Skoda Octavia vRS reviewed
Bold headlights which for the first time can be fitted with xenon lighting and LED bulbs are just some of the features of the new Octavia vRS from Skoda that impressed one team of reviewers who gave it a test drive.
Following its exclusive facelift, the sporty model now allows for xenon adaptive headlights to be combined with the front lighting system, which Auto Express described as "sleeker" than before.
Other exciting new attributes include front fog lamps which turn with the steered wheels and LED running lights for during the day, while the rear headlights have been praised as "smarter" and "more distinctive".
The magazine was most impressed with the flexibility of the car’s engine however, claiming that "whichever transmission you choose, the car quickly settles down to a quiet high-speed motorway cruise".
In related news, Skoda recently launched its first crossover vehicle and fifth model line, the Yeti, designed to combine the advantages of 4×4 motors with the convenience of hatchbacks.
