Car headlights customers might be interested to read the advice of one motoring expert, who believes that drivers should ensure that their car is properly maintained at all times.
Alex Wells, press officer at the Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMIF), the trade association for the car industry, said that proper maintenance can save customers money in the long-term, as small problems will be picked up before they become bigger, costlier problems.
Speaking about the current trend for consumers to wait longer before purchasing new cars due to the recession, he said: "It’s always best to make sure your car is properly maintained at all times and make sure that it undergoes regular servicing."
He added that people who do not feel confident in spotting issues themselves should ensure they visit a reputable garage that belongs to the RMIF.
There they can obtain advice and guidance on maintaining a roadworthy vehicle at a reasonable price.
