“Enjoyable” year for Hyundai apprentice
Written by Tom Sinclair
Those in the market for new car headlights might be interested to know that Hyundai’s work placement students appear to be very happy with their time spent with the firm.
Rosie Hawkins, from the University of Gloucestershire, has worked in the Hyundai press office for the past year but left this week in order to complete her degree.
The student said her enjoyable and educational year promoting the car manufacturer’s products had a profound effect on her.
"I doubt I’ll ever get paid to play giant Trivial Pursuit or battle journalists in Dodgems ever again," she said of her time at the firm, which was originally created by an Asian peasant farmer in 1947.
Meanwhile, graduate Laura King, from Birmingham, is another happy customer who worked as a PR assistant for the company.
She recently returned to the offices after completing the final year of her events management course at Bournemouth University.

Life is great when you work for a Company that knows how to take care of its employees. I worked for verizon and we had lots of team building exercises that really improved morale!
