The new Mini Coupe Concept, which is set to be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show between September 17th and 27th, will feature "large, round headlights", the car’s manufacturer has announced.
In a statement, the organisation noted that the first classic Mini was revealed on August 26th 1959, meaning that 50 years have passed since the world was first introduced to the model.
Over the years, it has become something of a British icon and has featured in popular culture, such as the 1969 Michael Caine film The Italian Job and the 2003 remake starring Mark Wahlberg.
Other design features of the new model include a hexagonal radiator grille and a low front spoiler mark.
"The Mini Coupe Concept takes traditional values of the Mini brand and combines them with the most advanced technologies to offer an exciting vision of the how [the] Mini family may continue to grow," the manufacturer asserted.
