Windscreen wiper blade motors used in Fringe garden show

Windscreen wiper blade motors have played a part in a huge audiovisual show at the Edinburgh Fringe festival, it has been reported.
Power Plant is an exhibition at the Royal Botanic Garden in the Scottish capital and involves a walk through the site’s Victorian hothouses.
The trail takes people through the garden and along a path lit by lamps until they reach the glasshouses, the BBC reports.
"A specially-adapted hothouse has been filled with atmospheric steam, while windscreen wiper motors have been used to make lights dart within the tree branches," the news provider notes.
Some 5,000 tickets have been sold for the attraction, which has been described by Green MSP Robin Harper as a "must-see", in around two weeks.
In recent days, Tim Elsenburg of the band Sweet Billy Pilgrim told the BBC that he had been inspired by his windscreen wipers and was recording the sound they made as part of his song-writing process.

Well, that’s certainly an interesting use of windscreen wiper motors! It’s always nice when recycling is interesting I think.
