Motorists buying the latest version of Toyota’s Land Cruiser will have the option of rain-sensing windscreen wiper blades, it has been revealed.
The manufacturer claimed the updated edition of the vehicle – which is being unveiled at this week’s Frankfurt International Motor Show – is even better suited to potentially treacherous conditions than its predecessor.
It stated: "New, user-friendly functions have been introduced that can help make tricky routes passable, over terrain on which even accomplished off-road drivers might feel challenged."
Buyers will be able to choose between three different trim levels – LC3, LC4 and LC5.
People opting for one of the latter two versions will benefit from rain-sensing windscreen wiper blades, as well as dusk-sensing headlights.
Meanwhile, all versions of the auto are fitted with fog lamps.
In other news, Toyota recently announced it would be displaying a hybrid edition of its Auris model at the Frankfurt International Motor Show.
