A new model from Lexus features innovative car lights, it has been revealed.

The LS 600h comes with an automatic high beam system.

By making use of a camera sensor in the rear view mirror, the auto is able to detect street lamps, oncoming traffic and vehicles travelling ahead.

The car’s headlamps automatically switch on and off depending on the driving conditions.

Meanwhile, the appearance of the vehicle’s lights have also reportedly been improved.

Lexus described the headlamp cluster – which is finished in Hybrid Blue – as "distinctive".

Elsewhere on the car, the new door mirrors include twin LED turn signals and puddle lights.

The model is currently on display at the Frankfurt International Motor Show, alongside the company’s LF-Ch full hybrid concept.

According to Lexus, the latter vehicle has been created in response to a desire among European drivers for smaller, greener vehicles that still offer excellent levels of refinement.
