Brands Hatch event may tempt motoring enthusiasts

Motorsport enthusiasts who appreciate how much effort goes into designing everything from the windscreen wiper blades to the headlight bulbs on a competitive vehicle may want to book tickets for an upcoming event at Brands Hatch.

Race Car Live is returning to the venue on November 21st and 22nd and organisers claimed the gathering is used by many manufacturers as a launch pad for their 2010 season plans.

As a result, visitors may find the event offers a sneak preview of what next year’s cars will be like.

The people behind the event described it as a showcase for competitive racing.

People who are not licensed to take to the track themselves, however, can also enjoy the adrenalin rush of a few laps round the circuit – as there is the opportunity to sign up to sit alongside a trained driver as they demonstrate their talents behind the wheel.

In other racing news, Renault Sport UK has confirmed the new 2.0 model is to make its competitive debut at the beginning of the 2010 Michelin Formula Renault UK Championship.
