Ford Focus recommended to used car buyers

Motorists looking to save money by opting for a used auto and then sprucing it up with items like new car lights and windscreen wiper blades may want to pay a visit to their local Ford dealership.
The manufacturer’s Focus 1.6 Zetec Climate has recently been named the best second-hand small family model.
Clinching the title at the What Car? Used Car of the Year 2009 awards, the vehicle received particular praise for its affordable running costs and the space it provides for passengers and their luggage.
The magazine commented: "There’s good head and legroom in the front and back – and room for five people. The boot is a generous size and easy to load."
A 2006 edition of the five-door Ford Focus costs approximately £6,400.
In other news, the latest RS version of the model is due to take part in the MPG Marathon next week to demonstrate how drivers can boost the car’s fuel economy.

With the recent increase in used car values Ford Focus declared Best in Class UsedCar because of its continuity to offer value for money and economic motoring.
