New Renault costs less ‘as it does not have automatic car lights and windscreen wiper blades’

Motorists opting for the Cup version of the Twingo Renaultsport 133 will have to do without automatic car lights and rain-sensing windscreen wiper blades operation, it has been revealed.
The manufacturer explained the auto offers an improved driving experience but less equipment compared with the standard edition, so the company can charge a lower price.
Buyers will find the Cup suspension pack comes as standard on the new model.
Renault pointed out the chassis is four mm lower than on the original car, adding the low centre of gravity allows for better in-corner performance.
Meanwhile, higher spring rates and tuned damper settings have been included to improve body control.
The car costs £11,795 – £700 less than the standard edition – and will be available to order from tomorrow (October 1st).
First deliveries are scheduled for November.
In other news, Rachel Christie – the newly-crowned Miss England – was recently presented with a Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet.
