Peugeot 5008 features automatic windscreen wiper blades

The Peugeot 5008 Compact MPV Exclusive boasts automatic windscreen wiper blades, it has been revealed.
Due for release in January next year, the top-of-the-range edition of the seven-seater is equipped with the manufacturer’s Visibility Pack.
This includes windscreen wiper blades that activate automatically when it starts raining, along with headlamps that illuminate the road ahead as soon as visibility drops below a certain level.
In addition, buyers who choose the Exclusive version of the vehicle will benefit from 17-inch alloy wheels, a Cielo panoramic glass roof, head-up display, rear parking aid, distance alert, electric folding mirrors, climate-control air conditioning and Bluetooth hands-free equipment.
The model is also available in two other trim levels – Active and Sport.
Prices for the most basic version of the vehicle start at £16,895.
In other news from the manufacturer, UK retail sales for the group rose by 18 per cent last month – compared with September 2008.
