A new model from Mazda could help improve visibility on dark nights as a result of the manufacturer’s choice of car lights.
The updated CX-7 comes with xenon headlamps, which are generally considered to provide greater levels of illumination than standard car bulbs.
A range of other features designed to protect occupants may also appeal to safety-conscious vehicle buyers.
Motorists will find the model boasts emergency stop signalling, rear vehicle monitoring technology, emergency brake assist, an anti-lock braking system, traction and dynamic stability control and electronic brake-force distribution.
It is also equipped with a range of airbags.
Commenting on the appeal of the car, sales and marketing director Mark Cameron stated: "In the best Mazda tradition, our new Mazda CX-7 enables us to offer a distinctive sports crossover that is different from the huge line-up of SUV-type vehicles currently available."
In other news that may interest people considering buying one of the manufacturer’s autos, the Mazda3 MPS recently recorded fuel economy of 41.75 mpg at the MPG Marathon.
