New Mazda CX-7 Sports Crossover in showrooms soon
Written by Fiona Birkwood.
People who expect more from their car lights will be interested to know the Mazda CX-7 Sports Crossover will soon be available in showrooms with a new Emergency Stop Signalling (ESS) system, which activates the hazard warning car lights whenever the driver brakes abruptly and heavily.
The car will be in showrooms in the UK from November 1st priced at £25,785 on-the-road in a choice of five colours.
Featuring a new turbo-charged 2.2-litre diesel engine which generates 173ps and 400Nm of torque, this new model offers both low fuel consumption and low emissions, which is a step towards meeting EU CO2 emissions targets.
Annual EU figures on CO2 emissions from car manufacturers reveal that the average emissions of the EU fleet fell by 3.3 per cent in 2008, compared to 2007.
As well as being a little kinder to the environment, the new Mazda CX-7 has a more dynamic front with a larger five-point grille and chrome detailing.
On top of the ESS system it also has numerous features as standard, including leather seats, climate control air-conditioning, cruise control, electric driver and front passenger heated seats, a bespoke Bose premium surround sound audio system, integrated satellite navigation and Bluetooth technology.

I’ve never heard about the new ESS but I love the idea of it. As soon as you break real hard, the last thing on your mind will be to turn on the emergency blinkers. Good thinking there.
Good post, but have you thought about New Mazda CX-7 Sports Crossover in showrooms soon before?
