British engineers develop new 4×4 tyre.

British engineers have designed and built the first ever premium UHP 4×4/SUV tyre, the Cooper Zeon 4XS.
The tyre was developed by experts at Cooper Europe’s base in Melksham, Wiltshire, to meet the demands of European 4×4 vehicles on European roads.
Cooper Tire and Rubber Company Europe managing director Julian Baldwin said: "The fact that Cooper Tire’s headquarters in America have entrusted our design team in Melksham with the development of the company’s first premium UHP tyre for high performance four-wheel drive vehicles is yet another major seal of approval on the quality of work we do here in Europe."
It can be used on the Porsche Cayenne, Volkswagen Touareg, BMW X5, Audi Q7, Volvo XC90 and Mercedes M-Class, and is now available to buy in V, W and Y speed ratings in the UK and mainland Europe.
Drivers of 4×4 vehicles must ensure that none of their car lights are covered by dirt after they have been driving off-road as, according to the Highway Code, all sidelights, rear registration plate lights and headlights must be lit and visible to other vehicles at night.
British engineers have done a great job because they have made 4×4 Tyre which is very beneficial for all the cars. As i think that it gives a proper balance to the car and so you can feel more comfortable with your car. Anyways keep it up and keep continue.
Thats great news. I think these new set of tyres will give a new dimension to the performance of the SUVs. I am planning to get a new range rover sport, so I just wanted to know if I can benefit from these Cooper Zeon 4XS tyres. Cheers!
