Internet-savvy motorists who know the best websites to go to for cheap replacement car bulbs may be interested to hear about Nissan Motor’s environment media web portal and monthly e-bulletin, which have been given an award by the Green Organisation.
The areas in which Nissan is reducing both energy use and emissions are highlighted on the web portal and e-bulletin, such as building design and manufacturing processes.
Nissan’s web offerings, which are regularly updated with global news, press releases, images and videos, won a Green Apple Silver award for Environmental Best Practice.
Gabi Whitfield, director of communications for Nissan in the UK, said: "With LEAF, the world’s first affordable, mass-market electric vehicle about to begin its global roll-out, lithium-ion battery plants being established, and a continued commitment to Fuel Cell development over the longer term, Nissan has plenty to talk about from an environmental perspective."
Many car manufacturers are developing electric vehicles, earlier this month Renault announced details about its new electric Kangoo Van, which is to be manufactured in France.
