Ford is UK’s most reliable van manufacturer

Ford manufactures Britain’s most reliable vans, according to a recent survey.
The reliability survey, of more than one million vehicles, is published annually by Fleet News magazine.
Fleet News asked the UK’s leasing and contract hire companies to rate vehicles according to breakdowns per 100 of each model.
Steve Kimber, Ford of Britain commercial vehicle director, said: "Ford models have led the commercial vehicle market for 44 years. Their reliability record is of paramount importance, so I’m delighted by this Ford endorsement from top UK fleets."
Ford vans may be Britain’s most reliable in terms of breakdowns, but leasing and contact hire companies should ensure that they always have a stock of car bulbs just in case car lights go out and need replacing.
The government’s Highway Code states that all sidelights and rear registration plate lights are lit between sunset and sunrise and that headlights should be working and turned on in hours of darkness – the period between half-an-hour after sunset and half-an-hour before sunrise.
