New Infiniti saloon revealed in America

Written by Tom Benjamin.

Infiniti’s new saloon, which boasts bi-Xenon adaptive front car lights, has been unveiled in the USA.

The all-new Infiniti M Line includes a number of industry-first safety features such as Blind Spot Intervention (BSI), which detects when another vehicle is in the blind spot area and alerts the driver through audio and visual warnings.

If the driver ignores the warnings and attempts to move in to another lane, the BSI is activated and the vehicle automatically adjusts its direction and eases back into the original lane.

A climate control system called Forest Air makes its debut in the M Line, not only controlling temperature, humidity and pollution but also releasing forest scents.

Interior features of the vehicle include a rectangular analogue dash board clock, wood accents and quilted leather seats.

The brand’s flagship saloon will be on sale in Europe from September 2010.

Last month Infiniti’s FX become the first luxury sports utility vehicle to be awarded the maximum five stars in Euro NCAP’s improved safety testing programme.ADNFCR-2370-ID-19491392-ADNFCR
