Volvo checks car bulbs to ensure vehicles are safe in winter roads

As the Met Office warns that there is to be further heavy snowfall in parts of the UK this week, Volvo is offering a 25-point car inspection, including checks of all car lights, to ensure that vehicles are safe to travel on the winter roads.
Volvo’s Winter Check costs £30 and takes half an hour to complete. The thorough inspection includes checks of windscreen wiper blades, to ensure they are secure and in good condition.
Mechanics also check that the steering, brakes and suspension are all operating correctly and they ensure that coolant and antifreeze in the windscreen washer fluid are at the correct strengths.
After the check, vehicles are cleaned inside and outside and returned to the owners with a free ice scraper.
Yesterday, December 28th, the Met Office said that heavy snow is expected this week with Wales and some parts of the Midlands set to be the worst affected.
