Ensure all car lights are working and clean, motorists warned

The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) is warning drivers to ensure that all of their car bulbs, brake lights and indicators are working properly over the coming weeks as more bad weather has been forecasted.
Motorists are also advised to ensure that all of these car lights are clean and free of snow and ice before setting off on the roads.
Peter Rodger, IAM chief examiner, said: "Snow and icy conditions are unfamiliar to a large number of drivers, and many are struggling with the weather and road conditions."
He went on to say that motorists should give themselves plenty of time for a journey, prepare their cars and listen to travel and weather bulletins.
The IAM also advised drivers to drive smoothly to avoid skidding.
AA Insurance recently announced that snow and black ice have increased the number of claims it has received by as much as 40 per cent on some days.

I reckon that between 20% and 30% of cars driving around Kent have one or more lights not working.
Beware the one eyed monster!!!.
