Kia Motors has donated its 500,000th car made at its Slovakian plant, a ceed SW, which has black bezel car lights, to a nearby transplantation centre.

The car being donated to the transplantation centre in the city of Martin is to be used to transfer surgery teams and organs for transplant.

"Thanks to this donation, we can improve and increase the safety of our work aimed at saving lives," said Viliam Grajciar, economy deputy of the Faculty Hospital in Martin.

As well as having black bezel front car lights, the vehicle has body coloured bumpers, tinted glass and a rear windscreen wiper blade as standard.

Some of the models also come with front fog car lights, alloy pedals and full wheel covers.

Volume production began at the plant in Zilina, Slovakia, in December 2006 and the factory commenced production of the third model in its production portfolio – the Hyundai ix35 – this month.ADNFCR-2370-ID-19567721-ADNFCR
