The designers of Bentleys new Mulsanne, which will become the manufacturers flagship model, will have probably paid much attention to its car light bulbs during the development process.
Bentley has said the vehicles design involved "painstaking attention to detail" and promises motorists "the design and engineering vision of a car created without compromise".
Previewing the Mulsannes body at the manufacturers Crewe assembly centre, Bentley said it takes 125 man hours to construct the cars body before it can go into production.
"These components are assembled into a complete shell using techniques that range from industry-leading adhesives through to hand-crafted brazing skills," a company statement said.
Such is the quality of craftsmanship behind the new Mulsanne that Bentleys Crewe-based employees recently received of a British Institute of Sheet Metal Engineering medal, a rare accolade in the automotive industry.
Gary Picken, Bentleys senior production manager, said the build process is being "exhaustively tested" in order to achieve the highest quality standards.
The manufacturer showcased the Mulsanne at last months Detroit Motor Show.
