Volvo S60, with LED car lights, to debut at the Geneva Motor Show

Posted by Tom Benjamin

Volvos all-new S60, which has LED car lights, is to make its international debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

LED technology is used to create distinctive car lights at the front and rear of the vehicle, making it clearly identifiable as an S60, even when it is dark.

Jonathan Disley, head of interior design for the all-new Volvo S60, said: "Every detail looks like its in motion. All the lines embrace the drivers cockpit.

"There isnt any compromise anywhere in the dynamic approach we adopted from the very beginning."

The vehicle has active Bi-Xenon car lights which follow the curve of the road, creating improved illumination when driving in the dark on winding roads.

It will be available from its launch at the Geneva Motor Show in a range of exterior colours including two new shades: Vibrant Copper and Electrum Gold.

Hondas European CR-Z hybrid coupe is also set to show off its LED car lights and other impressive features at the motor show.ADNFCR-2370-ID-19604936-ADNFCR
