Bentley launches new vehicle, with gloss black finished car light casings

Bentley has launched the new Continental Supersports Convertible, which has a gloss black finish to its car light casings.

The vehicle has the same 630PS (621bhp/463kW) twin-turbocharged W12 engine as the Continental Supersports Coupe, which was introduced last year.

Raul Pires, head of exterior design at Bentley, said: "The Supersports Convertible and Coupe are the ultimate drivers Bentleys and that is reflected in unique design cues that provide a bold, sporting look, from whatever angle the cars are admired."

He went on to say that even from a distance and on a dark road, the vehicles can still be identified as belonging to the Bentley Supersports family.

The new vehicle boasts rear car light clusters and is the first in the motor industry to include a Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) finish on stainless steel.

PVD is a time-consuming process involving depositing vaporised metal onto the surface of another metal.

A number of new cars are to be launched this year following their debuts at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

Among the vehicles making their premieres at the event are the Jaguar XKR Coupe and the Honda European CR-Z hybrid coupe.ADNFCR-2370-ID-19620741-ADNFCR
