Windscreen wiper blades ripped off vehicles in Lincolnshire

Vandals in Stamford, Lincolnshire, have been ripping the windscreen wiper blades from vehicles.
The police told the Rutland and Stamford Mercury that the most recent incident of this kind occurred last Monday (February 15th) between 17:00 and 22:00 in Bath Row, Stamford.
On this occasion, the back wiper blade of a Peugeot 206 was stolen.
Inspector Gary Stewart told the newspaper: "We have seen a number of incidents of this in recent weeks and we are asking the public to be on the lookout for people acting suspiciously around cars in their road."
He went on to say that this may not be a serious crime, but it causes great inconvenience to motorists, especially at this time of year when, given the poor weather, it is difficult to drive without windscreen wiper blades.
Earlier this month, Boschs Aerotwin windscreen wiper blade came top in an ADAC windshield wiper test of ten products.
