More motorists seek MPVs online

Some of the best deals for car bulbs can be found on the internet, but budget-conscious motorists are also turning to the web for great offers on new family cars, according to Carsite.co.uk.
The e-retailer of used cars said it has recently experienced an increase in visitors looking for MPV models.
Alistair Jeff, of Carsite.co.uk, said: "The current economic climate continues to put a strain on the budgets of many families, so its hardly surprising the internet is now increasingly populated with parent drivers after the best value transportation they can achieve."
All of the websites vehicles are inspected by the RAC and have undergone HPI checks, which ensure that the cars are not stolen, written off and that they have no outstanding finance.
HPI recently announced that a mileage discrepancy is found in eight out of every 100 vehicles that it checks, indicating that they have been clocked, or tampered with.
