Campaign using neon bulbs aims to increase car drivers awareness of bikers

Motorists often do not spot motorcyclists, even when they have their car lights on, but a new advertising campaign has been launched aiming to get drivers to be more aware of these other road users.
The new £3.5 million THINK! campaign includes TV adverts in which bikers have flashing neon signs attached to their bikes.
Displayed in the signs bright car lights are the riders name and a description of a personality trait, such as shy retiring type or new dad.
A voiceover at the end of the advert asks motorists to look out for motorcyclists next time they are out driving.
Paul Clark, road safety minister, said: "We are working hard to tackle the unacceptable number of collisions where motorcyclists are killed on Britains roads and our THINK! campaigns are a vital part of this."
Motorists have an increased chance of avoiding accidents, which could involve a collision with a motorcyclist, if they use their car lights properly.
According to the the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1989, it is illegal to drive a car that has faulty or broken front and rear car bulbs.
