Clean car lights to ensure safe driving

Motorists have been advised to clean their front car lights to improve their visibility and safety on the roads.
Website mynews.in advised drivers to look at their car lights and, if they look "foggy", to wash them with soap and water and allow to dry.
"If you find a crack on headlight then get it replaced immediately, because water may get stored in it and cause condensation," the website added.
It offered this advice as one of ten top tips to improve drivers visibility and, therefore, their safety while behind the wheel.
Another tip offered by the site was to clean the windscreen from the outside using a cotton rag and a mixture of citric acid and water or alcohol and water.
It added that using newspaper or a clean dry cloth to wipe off the excess of the cleaning mixture will give a "polished look" to the glass.
Last month, Sainsburys Car Insurance advised motorists to use their car lights in rain or snow and to ensure these lights are clean so that they can see and be seen by other road users.
