Porsche has launched a new lightweight version of its Boxter – the Spyder, which is available with Bi-Xenon car headlight bulbs.
The new model is 80 kg lighter than the equivalent Boxster S model, weighing in at 1,275 kg, making it the lightest model in the Porsche line-up.
As well as Bi-Xenon car lights, customers buying the Spyder can choose sports seats with a black leather interior, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, fully automatic climate control and many other additional features.
The Spyder can achieve 62 mph in just 5.1 seconds, or 4.8 seconds if the PDK Sport Chrono Plus package is selected on purchase.
It can also reach a top speed of 166 mph with the hood open and 124mph with the hood closed.
Earlier this month, another of Porsches vehicles – the new Cayenne – showed off its Bi-xenon headlights for the first time when it made its world premiere at the Geneva International Motor Show.
