Saab 9-5s car lights rigorously tested over 500,000 km

The car lights of a new Saab 9-5 test model have been rigorously tested over 500,000 km of Europes most challenging roads.
This intense testing period, designed to fine-tune the dynamics of the vehicle, is equivalent to driving around the world 12 times.
Saabs driving team focused on a core test fleet of 15 cars, and drove them across Sweden, the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, France, Spain and Italy on roads ranging from being marble smooth to deeply rutted and potholed.
"When you get in the car and drive, you feel like you are part of the vehicle. You feel directly connected to the controls and the car really becomes an extension of the driver," said Saabs chief test driver Peter Johansson.
In a number of markets, the Saab 9-5, which has Bi-xenon car headlight bulbs, is already available to order and the first deliveries of the vehicle will begin later this year.
It is available in the UK for £26,495 on the road.
