Right-hand drive Ford Focus RS500 with auto car lights sells out

All 101 of Fords right-hand drive Focus RS500 models, which have automatic car lights as standard, have now sold out.

As well as having car lights that turn on automatically when it is dark, the limited edition Focus RS500 has rain-sensing windscreen wiper blades, a heated windscreen and rear parking distance sensors.

Mark Simpson, marketing director at Ford Britain, said: "Focus RS500 has raised the Ford performance bar in every way – its the fastest-selling model in Fords UK history, with five times more customers than we had cars for."

The vehicles sold for £35,450 each within days of their launch but the car company is now launching an officially-approved Focus RS performance upgrade kit.

This means that Ford Focus RS owners can improve their 305PS super-hatch by an extra 45PS and increase its torque by 20Nm.

The MP350 RS upgrade was developed by Ford Team RS, in partnership with Mountune Performance and will be launched shortly through selected Ford dealers across the UK.ADNFCR-2370-ID-19728950-ADNFCR

An awesome model of the Focus RS and guaranteed to be a future classic. If only I could have got my hands on one.
