Members of the Peugeot 406 Coupe Club will be turning on their car lights and heading to the grounds of the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu next month to celebrate the societys 5th birthday.

Taking place on Sunday, May 23rd, the meeting will also celebrate the 200th birthday of Peugeot and the 80th of Pininfarina.

French car firm Peugeot and Italian designers Pininfarina joined forces to create the multi award winning 406 Coupe.

David Bater, of the 406 Coupe Club, said: "This special birthday meet at Beaulieu is shaping up to be the biggest ever, even beating the French 406 Coupe clubs record."

He went on to explain that the owners of over 70 cars have already signed up, with many travelling over from France, Holland and the UK.

Earlier this month, Peugeot announced that its 207 hatchback and SW models, which both have front fog car lights as standard, were available with new six-speed manual gearboxes and more powerful Euro 5 HDi diesel engines.ADNFCR-2370-ID-19750246-ADNFCR
