Volkswagen Golf most popular contract car

The Volkswagen Golf remains the most popular contract hire car in the UK, according to the latest report.
A study carried out by ContractHireAndLeasing.com showed that the Golf, which has new car headlight bulbs in the most recent Mark 6 GTI, is now the most popular contract hire car for the third year in a row.
The model received the most queries on the organisations website in both 2008 and 2009 and this year is no different, said spokesperson Richard Lawton.
"With a wide range of models to choose from, the Golf has the everyman appeal that business and personal contract hire customers find irresistible without compromising on the sense of status," he said.
A recent review of the Mark 6 by the Top Gear team proved particularly positive, with the them heaping praise on the new car headlight bulbs and other changes made to the overall shape of the vehicle.
