Aston Martin DB5 to appear at summer classic car events

Later this month, one of James Bonds favourite vehicles – the Aston Martin DB5 – will make its first appearance in the UK for 40 years.
The car is to go on show at the Midsummer Classic and ThunderBall events, to be held at Stoke Park Club on June 26th.
First produced in July 1963 and sold for £4,175, the DB5 made appearances in Goldfinger in 1964 and Thunderball in 1965.
The vehicle, with its circular front car lights and severely raked rear windscreen also made a comeback in the 1995 film GoldenEye and can be spotted in subsequent Bond movies.
Nicholas Mee, organiser of the events, said: "We are very excited to be presenting this iconic Aston Martin at Stoke Park Club – itself a filming location for scenes in two James Bond movies."
All the other James Bond Aston Martins will be on show at the events – the DBS from Quantum of Solace, the Vanquish from Die Another Day and the V8 Vantage Volante from the Living Daylights.
