Suzuki has released the first images of its new, third generation Swift.
Preliminary information about the vehicle, which goes on sale in the UK in the autumn, has also been published.
The new Swift incorporates higher strength steel than its predecessor, making its body shell lighter and stiffer.
Its body design has also been updated, helping to improve impact safety for pedestrians as well as the vehicles driver and passengers.
All Suzuki models are fitted with powerful halogen car bulbs, providing optimal illumination of the road ahead.
The new version is 90mm longer than its predecessor and has a 50mm larger wheelbase.
Its interior features black as its keynote colour but has accents of silver throughout.
In terms of its powertrain, the new Swift is driven by a 1.2-litre petrol engine incorporating Dual VVT, which produces 94PS at 6,000rpm.
Back in March, Suzuki displayed the Swift, Splash and the three-door Grand Vitara at the 2010 Vitality Show in Londons Earls Court.
