Volvo FMX praised by press

Volvos new truck for construction duties, the Volvo FMX, has been praised after being test-driven by journalists for the first time.
The vehicle, which has front car lights taken from the Volvo FH, was tested at a gravel quarry outside Giteborg, Sweden, which offered difficult driving conditions.
Volvo quoted Pieter Wieman from TTM in the Netherlands as saying: "The automated I-Shift transmission is now really excellent. The software has been improved so it is ideal for difficult terrain and for off-road."
He went on to say that as the person behind the wheel does not have to think about shifting gear, they are free to concentrate fully on their driving, which improves safety.
Once it goes on sale, the FMX will be available with Bi-Xenon car bulbs, if the Visability+ package is selected.
This also includes headlight cleaners and static cornering car lights.
The Volvo FMX will be displayed again at the Truck Show in Jonkoping, Sweden, in August and at the Internationale Automobil Ausstellung in Hanover in September.
