Peugeot came first and second in last weekends SATA Rally Azores, which is the seventh round of this years Intercontinental Rally Championship.
The Peugeot 207 S2000 rally cars were driven by Portugals Bruno Magalhaes and the UKs Kris Meeke.
Magalhaes crossed the line first, followed by Meeke, who was accompanied by co-driver Paul Nagle.
“This has given us a little glimmer of hope. We cant do any more than go out and give our maximum on every rally,” said Meeke.
He went on to say that the next three races are on asphalt and that he believes his vehicle to be “very good” on this type of surface.
The three-door production version of the Peugeot 207 is available from £9,995 on-the-road and comes with LED car lights as standard.
It also boasts circular fog lights, an integrated bumper and is available with the latest Peugeot navigation system.
