Skoda Yeti wins the top title in Auto Express New Car Awards

Skodas Yeti was named Car of the Year at the 2010 Auto Express New Car Awards.
The weekly automotive magazine and website also honoured Skoda with another four awards at the event, which was held on Tuesday (August 3rd).
Skodas hatch was named Best Family Car and its sister model, the Superb Estate, was named Best Estate Car.
The Yeti was not only named Car of the Year, but was also awarded the Best Crossover title by the Auto Express panel of judges.
David Johns, editor of Auto Express, said: “The Skoda Yeti mixes tough Tonka toy looks, sharp handling and a high-quality and spacious cabin with the brands famed value-for-money pricing and customer service.”
The Yeti is available with a choice of petrol or diesel engines.
This includes the 1.2 TSI 105bhp petrol engine, which has four cylinders, a cubic capacity of 1,197 and CO2 emissions of 149g/km.
