All new Vauxhalls covered by lifetime warranty

All of Vauxhalls new vehicles will now be covered by a lifetime warranty, the car manufacturer has announced.
Each new Vauxhall will be covered by the warranty until it has 100,000 miles on its odometer.
“With the Vauxhall lifetime warranty, we are making a strong statement of confidence in the quality of our products and a clear intent to provide the very best customer service in the UK,” said Duncan Aldred, managing director of Vauxhall Motors.
Vauxhall owners need to make sure they visit one of the companys retailers annually for a free vehicle inspection in order to ensure that they maintain the lifetime warranty.
Covered by the warranty are all major vehicle components, including the powertrain, steering system, brake system and electrical equipment.
Mr Aldred said that this new development will make the firms cars even more appealing.
Last month, Mercedes-Benz launched its C-Class DR 520, offering just a three-year, 60,000 mileage warranty.
