Ford S-MAX is Britains best MPV
Fords S-MAX was declared Britains best MPV at this years Auto Express New Car Awards.
This is the third consecutive year that the vehicle has been given the title by the weekly motoring magazine.
The car, which was launched in 2006 and enhanced this year, combines sports styling with seven-seat practicality.
It now boasts a refreshed exterior and interior and new high-efficiency engines as well as enhanced technologies, such as a blind spot alert and an adjustable speed limiter.
“A powerful new line-up of EcoBoost petrol engines and revised diesels, as well as an increase in cabin quality, has helped keep the Ford ahead of the game,” said Auto Express editor-in-chief David Johns.
The Ford Fiesta, last years Auto Express Car of the Year, was named best supermini of 2010.
Over the weekend, Ford achieved further success, taking major victories in the World Rally Championship, NASCAR Sprint Cup, Chinese Touring Cars and X Games rally competition.
