Nissans bestselling crossover, the Qashai, has benefitted from a range of upgrades.
The British-built model now features Start/Stop technology, which helps the driver to save fuel while also being kinder to the environment.
All diesel versions of the model now benefit from particulate filter technology with the addition of DPF to the 1.5-litre dCi engine.
However, this does not affect the cars performance, as the 1.5 dCis output has actually increased from 106PS to 110PS.
The 1.6 petrol Qashqai also benefits from an increased output of 117PS and 158Nm of torque, up from 115PS and 156Nm.
Earlier in the month, Nissan in Europe reported sales of 47,490 units in July, which is an increase of 7.6 per cent on the same month of last year.
“Nissan outperformed the market by achieving a five-year high market share in a single month of 3.4 per cent … [this] marks the best month of July in 15 years,” said Bernard Loire, vice president of sales operations for Nissan in Europe.

Well, the sales report is indicating how popular this car is.
