The new Transit Minibus, which includes 13 seats, has been launched by Ford.
It is available from £25,400 with a choice of three 2.4-litre TDCi power-trains including the new 100PS unit and the 140PS, both with six-speed transmission.
The vehicle weighs 3.5 tonnes, which means that it can be driven on a category B car licence.
Standard safety features on the Ford minibus include ABS, ESP and driver and passenger airbags.
In the 15 and 17-seat models, the latest-generation seatbelts that suit both adults and children are also included.
"All models are designed to carry occupants in a safe, spacious and well-equipped interior. The Transit provides a car-like ride and handling experience which aids those who usually drive cars," a statement from Ford said.
Earlier in the month, Ford announced that its efficient six-speed PowerShift transmission is now available on six different models.
These include the Ford Focus and C-MAX, Ford Kuga, Mondeo, S-MAX and Galaxy.
