Men like listening to chick hits while driving

Embarrassing research has revealed that men like to listen to music usually favoured by women when they are behind the wheel.
Seat surveyed almost 3,000 British motorists and one in five of the men quizzed confessed that, when alone in their vehicles, they enjoy nothing more than singing along to a bit of Shirley Bassey, Wham! or Take That.
Some 71 per cent even admitted to enjoying the false falsetto tones of the Bee Gees while they make their way around the UK's roads.
"The car is a precious musical sanctuary where blokes can shamelessly practice their best falsetto to Scissor Sisters' Take Your Mamma and women can growl along to Meat Loaf's Bat Out Of Hell, all at maximum volume," said Conor McNicholas, former editor of both NME and Top Gear magazines.
In a recent poll of 500 people conducted by ContractHireAndLeasing.com about what drivers found distracting, just four per cent said that in-car music took their focus away from the road.
