Flat windscreen wipers are the best on the market

Those looking to replace their windscreen wiper blades should opt for flat varieties, a respected automotive magazine has claimed.
According to Auto Express, flat wipers are not only more attractive but are more effective too.
"They do away with the ugly metal framework of older designs, replacing it with a metal shaft within the rubber that keeps an even pressure on the screen," the magazine explained.
It went on to say that flat blades sit snug against the screen, smoothing airflow and making them more aerodynamically efficient.
As for replacing these types of blades, Auto Express described the process as a "breeze".
In a test of ten different brands of flat wipers, the Bosch Aerotwin came out top, followed by the Halfords Flat Wiper Blade Set and the Valeo Silencio X.TRM.
Earlier in the year, the Institute of Advanced Motorists recommended that motorists wash their windscreen wipers often and replace them if necessary.
