Ford's newest offering – the Ranger – is to make its world debut at the Australian International Motor Show.
The vehicle boasts a long list of impressive features, including a rear-view camera system, which aids the driver in reversing.
It also has voice control and a feature that prevents trailer sway and another that adapts depending on the load within the vehicle.
Stephen Odell, chairman and chief executive officer at Ford of Europe, commented: "The new Ranger is an exciting and dynamic vehicle that will undoubtedly raise the bar in the pickup market."
He went on to say that Ford is looking forwards to bringing the Ranger to customers in Europe by 2012, adding that he was "confident it will exceed their expectations".
Other manufacturers featuring at the show include Audi, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz and Mitsubishi Motors.
This year's show is being held at Darling Harbour in Sydney from October 15th to 24th.
